Wow!!! I had never imagined that one day i would be holding that Bullpup[US special forces machine gun in Counter Strike] for real and pound those paintballs on my close time buddies. This is one of my most memorable experiences for Rs 300.
As usual me along with my great BMS gang started off on our two legged machined horses to yet another journey towards the outskirts of Bangalore to Paintball situated in Bannerghata road. After 15 minutes of confusion where it exactly was we found it. Parked our macho vehicles to head towards the war zone where already Corporate India were engaged in taking out their revenge on thier colleagues.
After the extensive training from the staff about the guns and rules we donned our Special forces suits and masks to get into what would be a memorable fight. Each one had 30 paintballs i.e 30 shots to take a pick. An area of a 40*60 site was our battlefiled in which Team Nokians: KK,MK and Winash took positions behind their bunkers(stockpile of sandbags) and Team Mixture me MP and HR took positions behind ours.
Whistle blow was what i heard last before paintballs started flying all around. Slowly our 2 years long of tactics playing Counter Strike[computer game] online almost daily from 9pm to 2am in our engineering days started to take shape. We started flanking and advancing towards them pounding the ball like bullets which were missing the targets. Physics soon took over tactics and paintballs missed the bodies due to wrong calculation in velocity, distance and wind pressure. Finally after 15 minutes our paint bullets were finished and we rushed out to see anyone with their shirts marked with green paint. Only KKs pink shirt was with green spots and we felt proud of ourselves not getting painted.[Imagine the amount of Surf needed to bring the happiness on that poor shirt].
A snap finally for our acheivement down in the History books.
Ultimately we went in as friends, fought as friends, came out as friends!!!!!
